After twenty years of welcoming guests from around the world to the shores
of Bora Bora’s turquoise lagoon, the InterContinental Bora Bora Resort & Thalasso Spa closed its doors on June 1, 2026 to focus on a top to bottom renovation to upgrade your experience.

We opened in 2006 with a simple ambition: to offer an experience unlike any other,
in one of the most extraordinary corners of the world. What followed was twenty years of shared sunrises, overwater mornings, wellness rituals, and memories we are grateful to have been part of.

None of it would have meant anything without you.

This new organic garden of 1000m² will be divided into two different parts: one part with aromatic herbs to supply the entire resort and another part with a production of local fruits and vegetables to supply Le Corail restaurant. In this garden, we will use permaculture methods. We are going to use the green waste to create our own compost, allowing our plants to grow without using fertilizer.
